The panda bear is one of the rarest and most threatened animals in the world, it is a species of mammal, it has a distinctive black and white appearance.
They have black "spots" around their shoulders, eyes, and ears.


Where does the panda bear live?

It lives in China, in the provinces of Sichuan, Gansu and Shaanxi, in large bamboo forests, with a humid climate and approximately 1200 to 3100 meters above the sea.


What is the diet of the panda bear?

This animal's appetite is insatiable and it can spend more than half the day eating bamboo. In addition, it also feeds on some fruits and small animals.

There are many species of animals in danger of extinction scattered around the world, the panda was one of them, according to data from the WWF it was estimated that the population of the panda was 1600 specimens.

Causes:

The main threats that cause this species to be in danger of extinction are; the difficult reproduction of these animals in captivity, the destruction of their habitat and illegal hunting.

The furtive cause is another of the great problems for this species since their skin is in demand, they also face the danger of dying in the traps of other animals.
